What is Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme?
The Andhra Pradesh government, led by Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the state’s chief minister, introduced the scholarship program. All the students who are willing to study and pursue higher education are unable to do so due to family financial problems. These students will receive financial support through the implementation of this program. Those having excellent academic scores are unable to pay their tuition because they do not have enough money. So, to assist all those students, the chief minister of the state of Andhra Pradesh has introduced theJagananna Vidya Deevena scheme. This scheme will help the students to continue their education.

Eligibility Criteria
- Employees employed by the government are not eligible for the program.
- The following courses can be taken by students to be eligible: Polytechnic ITI Certification
- Less than Rs 2.5 lakh should be the family’s annual income.
- Only wetlands under 10 acres, agricultural land under 25 acres, or both wetland and agricultural land under 25 acres should be eligible for benefits.
- There should be no four-wheelers (cars, taxis, autos, etc.) owned by the beneficiaries.

Benefits of Jagananna Vidya Deevena
- For students pursuing the following courses—Degree Engineering, etc.—tuition fee plus hostel fee.
- Each year, the students will donate Rs 20,000.
- Students enrolled in Welfare hostels are not required to pay for meals.
- The following financial rewards are available: Rs. 15,000 for Polytechnic students
- Ten thousand rupees for ITI students
- For a graduate degree and other courses, they pay Rs 20,000.
